    The BP Oil Disaster

    Sadhvi

There are times when I feel helpless.  There are times when I feel like I have to go inside and find some sense of serenity.  I think today is one of those times.  A friend sent me some pictures of the BP Oil Disaster.  My heart feels like it is breaking.  Another friend who lives down by the Florida Panhandle told me that hundreds of people, strangers and friends alike, walk down to the beach every morning at sunrise.  To say good-bye to the beach.  There is not much talking.  It feels like a funeral.  I have seen posts on YouTube from people who have some very good ideas on how to help clean up the oil spill.  And put some hard-working American people to work.  Which would also be a good thing.  I don’t think anyone in the government is too interested.  I could be wrong.  I hope so.

      hi gulabo,
i once heard osho say that there is no hope for things to stop what is going to happen. and that all we could do is visualize, imagine, that through the chaos the new man would be born.
are you ready? i will be here as long as i am supposed to. i didn’t come all this way to chicken out now. awaken!

    2. SadhviSez says:

Yes, that is what I have read too…that this one is much worse than Exxon Valdez. I also read that Obama gave a press talk yesterday about it. That everything is in the hands of the Federal Government. Did you read that? Finding the balance…breathing in…breathing out. Are these not interesting intense times???

It is amazing to me how dysfunctional the system is… how so little is being done, how time flies by and it continues spewing and people go on about their daily business as if nothing has happened. Then the nerve of SATC2 to chauffeur the ladies around in four separate gas guzzling vehicles. As my mother says, “vapid, insensitive, and disappointing.”

Thanks for posting. The media and the experts now say it is far worse than Exxon Valdez and we all know how horrible that was. Just another indication that we need to move away from fossil fuels and alternative fuel. And some still insist that we should drill in Alaska. Never been there but better get there before it’s too late.

Thank you Sadhvi… lovely words.. it is at these times when we can awaken… sadly

Yeah, I know what you mean. The damage that has been and is continuing is unfathomable.
